To find the early beginnings of the Woodland Dire Straights we have to go back to the summer of 2023 with a singer, percussionist and keyboardist. The search for the right band members could start and was not always easy. As it often happens in the music world: people come and go and artists often go their own way.But, just before the summer of 2024, the band gradually took shape with passionate musicians who have combined their talents into the whole that we know today.

The Woodland Dire Straights:

a wink to the original name Dire Straits, with links to our roots. 

All of the members are born in the Flanders geografically called Flanders Woodlands.
